She looks like....?

Trying to figure out whether our little one looks more like mommy or daddy?

Well, when we got a chance to examine her features at the hospital, I thought she had Ben's eyes. Ben knew the little dimple chin was a Fuller trait and he and his mom discovered interesting similarities between her ears and his. Where, I began wondering, are the Swartzentruber traits? I am pretty sure the upside down u shaped indentation at the top of her chin comes from me. That's something right????...

So when we got home, we took out both our baby books to put the mystery to rest. Here is what we discovered on page 1 of Ben's book:

And in case you needed a refresher on our baby girl's looks:

I would say the mystery is solved, wouldn't you? :) What a resemblance! She is her daddy's girl. Perhaps next time we'll have a little boy who looks like me. :)

Linea (Lyn-ay-uh) Pauline Fuller arrived at 11:00 pm on Monday, March 14, 2011. We praise the Lord for her safe, and very quick arrival and for a healthy little baby.

Her first name comes from her mommy's middle name, Linee. Her middle name comes from Ben's Grandma Miller, Cora Pauline, and Joni's Grandma Conrad, Ruth Pauline.

We got to bring her home on Wednesday! She is beautiful (at least we think so!) and is getting accustomed to her new world. Here are some pictures of her first few days!

Meeting Grandpa Swartzentruber just a few hours after birth.

Meeting Grandma Fuller in her "grandma loves me" outfit.

Finally a picture where mommy's eyes aren't half closed!

Linea with Aunt Heather...

And Aunt Holly...

(Aunt Nicole is happy to have seen her on Skype, but anxious to come see her in person!)

Here she is with Grandma Swartzentruber in the outfit Grandma bought her.

Here we are ready to go home. Mommy had fun with her sewing machine making her little homecoming outfit. Everything fit except for the tights and shoes!

Daddy bringing Linea into the house for the first time. She was quiet and slept the whole way home!

We are so excited to finally be parents of this precious little one. She is so very sweet and it took her no time at all to find a special place in our hearts! Thank you all for your love, prayers, gifts, and support over the last 9 months. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Linea!!!
