Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with the Swartzentruber/Conrads.  We enjoyed great food, played games and enjoyed the blessing of family.  We have so much to be thankful for this year.  God has blessed us beyond what we could ask or imagine and certainly beyond what we deserve!  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to California.  Of course we got some more info. on our adoption, but we were also able to enjoy some family fun.

 Our favorite treat - frozen yogurt.  There are self-serve frozen yogurt places everywhere!  Ohio needs these!  Yum!

It was too cold to swim at the beach, but we enjoyed walking and playing in the sand.

 She got to drive a car and pretend to do a lot of different occupations.

And after she served us our pretend tacos, she wanted to be sure to pray first.

We were so thankful for a much needed break from the routine and time together as a family!

Blessings

It seems that after you come out of a valley in life, God showers blessings upon you.  His faithfulness never ends and His mercies are new every morning!  We are so thankful for the blessings He has poured into our lives over the last few months!

Of course, you are aware of this little blessing coming to us through adoption in December. 

We are also happy to announce another blessing God has given to us, due to arrive March 12, 2014.  We certainly appreciate your prayers for the safe arrival of both of these little babies.  :o)

May 2013

Ben's Dad graduated from Cincinnatti Bible College with a Masters of Divinity.  We are so proud of his hard work and can't wait to see how God will alow him to use this degree.

Mother's Day! 
So, so thankful for this precious little girl full of energy.  Mother's day was a little bitter sweet as I remembered Amare and Micah in heaven, but so thankful we'll see them someday.    We enjoyed a wonderful day and got to go to the Swartzentrubers to celebrate with my mom as well.
