October

October Fun...

In the autumn, we hosted a costume party for some church and neighborhood friends and I had some fun taking Linea visiting in her costume. I decided it would be so cute if our baby chick dressed up as, well, a baby chick! Holly and Mom found the most adorable costume and boy did Linea look adorable in it, too!

Here she is visiting with her great-grandpa and great-grandma Conrad and great Aunt Peggy.

While we were in Orrville, we stopped by to see Aunt Heather and Uncle Ryan.

And we used the gorgeous scenery at Linea's grandpa and grandma Swartzentruber's house for some pictures of mama and baby and just baby...

We had quite a few people at our house for the autumn costume party and I certainly don't have pictures of everyone (for which some of the adults are thankful, I'm sure). We did ask the adults to dress up, too. It was a lot of fun and just may have to become an annual tradition.

Baby chick and her friend, the bumblebee...
Ben and I were the rooster and hen. Ben was so thrilled to be dressing up as the daddy rooster of the baby chick. :)

We had LOTs of children at our house that evening...I don't think I even captured all of them on camera!

This is just a random picture I found. Since I keep telling myself I don't have enough pictures of just Linea and me, I decided to put this one on, even though it doesn't go with the others. :)
